Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Stephanie, Rylie, Reece, Holden, Fletcher, and I all went to Zoolights one night at the Phoenix Zoo. They do a great job with the displays. I got some pictures of lights draped all over trees, bushes, and cacti. They also have a music and light show around the lake.
Some of our group saw more animals, but we only saw one real zebra. We also came across this talking giraffe, that spoke directly to Reece.
It was pretty chilly out, but Holden kept pulling his hat off. When he wouldn't stop screaming and crying, Grandma carried him around the zoo. He is spoiled rotten!
We stopped at the carousel. Remember: Fletcher wouldn't ride an animal at Castles N Coaster or at the train park. But...Grandpa geared him up and he rode "around and around and up and down." Yay!
Now, I said he rode on the animal, but I didn't say that he seemed too sure of it all. You can see how nervous he was in these pictures. But we were so happy that he did it!
We had a great time at Zoo Lights! The boys did not go to bed until 10:30pm that night and it began a string of super late nights for them.
