Reece had a Christmas program at his school and we meant to go. However, Holden had been running a temperature since Saturday night, but it wasn't consistent. After visiting some friends, by the time we got home, Holden was burning up! We stripped him down and gave him medicine. I called the pediatrician here (the same one that diagnosed Fletcher with an ear infection once when we were on vacation), and they got me in 45 minutes later.
An hour and a half after giving him his medicine, his temperature was 102! Shortly after that I was told that he was the worst patient they had seen all day...and they had a lot of sick patients. He had a horrible double ear infection. This was now his third in a month. After a shot of Rocephin and a script for a third medication for the month, we went home. My poor little guy!
So, Holden and I stayed home while Grandma and Grandpa took Fletcher with them to see the performance. The school streamed the performance live, so Holden and I caught some via the Internet!
