While Fletcher was waiting for Holden to wake up, he helped Grandpa fix some of the Christmas decorations in the front yard. (Fletcher didn't actually even ask about Santa...we just kept him out of that room without mentioning anything until we were all ready.)
When we finally did enter, Fletcher tore through his stocking like nobody's business. Holden needed some assistance. Grandma, Grandpa, and Jesse found a little love in their's, but Anna's was empy. Boo hoo. No, that's okay. I like gifts from Santa, but it is really fun watching the boys open theirs. Plus, I'm too busy taking pictures they probably won't care about in years to come.
Then, I took a picture of each child with their gifts from our first round of Christmas this year. (The second round will take place when we return to North Carolina.)
Then Aunt Amy came by later with a few more gifts, so the tent and tunnel, the tool set, and the lettersaurus did not make it into the pictures above.
