Holden's Nine Month Pictures

Holden's laughter is completely contagious. He is such a happy little boy, but when something is bothering him or he's trying to communicate...believe me...you'll know. This child can cry and scream and it's pitiful! He is very mobile and gets into anything he can. He tries to keep up with Fletcher and Fletcher loves it. He will crawl just to have Holden crawl after him. Holden shakes his head for no and nods his head for yes. I'm not sure that he entirely knows what he is doing, but it's adorable.

Unfortunately for him, Holden has tried two different antibiotics this month. He had his first ear infection and shortly after finishing the first antibiotic, he had a double ear infection. He's had a continuous cough and runny nose as well. Poor guy...I just wish he'd clear up everything! But at his well-check this morning, I noticed some spots on his upper back. Well, when we took his clothes off for the weigh-in, he was covered in spots! We thought it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotics, but the NP said she thought he just has a very strong viral infection. However, the horrible and I mean horr-i-ble diaper rash is from the antibiotics. He also had fluid in his ears, but they were not infected. Hopefully that doesn't turn into an ear infection because we are traveling for the holidays tomorrow!

At nine months old, Holden dropped to the 25th percentile! What!?!? This just blows my mind! Now he's less than average! He weighs 19 pounds 6 ounces, is 28 inches long and has a head circumference of ?. I cannot find my little sheet of paper that had the info! Check back for an update on that later if you're interested!

I thought I'd be the person that loved Fletcher more than anyone else in the entire world, but Holden has proven me wrong...He loves Fletcher no matter what he does to him! And, he really loves Fletcher when Mommy is trying to correct certain behaviors. It's hard to get mad at Fletcher about something when Holden is just sitting there encouraging him through gasps and giggles and excitement! Fletcher doesn't get the point that the behavior is inappropriate when his baby brother finds it irresistable!

Here are some pictures of Holden with his black lab, blue gorilla, and brown teddy bear. I could only manage these two because he is just so active!

Here he is on his hedgehog.
