We took a day to go visit one of my former swim coaches, Linda. She and her husband started a business over 20 years ago with just a very hot hot sauce, an idea, and a dream. It has expanded beyond belief into several different varieties of sauces, snack mixes, peanuts, chocolates, etc...that all kick yo ass so hot! (Dear boys, This is a perfect example of the American Dream coming true...everyone has the opportunity to make a success out of themselves...they are not guaranteed that it will work. Jeff and Linda grabbed a few opportunities along the way and they worked (and still work) extremely hard to run this business!)
After driving down Jack Ass Road, we said hello to the mules and donkeys. This one was not afraid of the electric fence at all!
Inside we tooled around, let Fletcher ride a tractor, chose some gifts for some friends back home and waited to visit with Linda.
I got to have a nice conversation with Linda and see one of her two daughters and her husband, Jeff too. They are always so incredibly busy, it was probably a good thing that I went the day after Christmas.
