Fletcher and Claire...that makes Flaire!
As Lauren and I have begun to dig ourselves out of the foggy early months of life coupled with deployment adjustments, and as the weather has cooperated a bit more...we have gotten in the habit of hanging out a little with our kids.
As you may remember, Claire is about 2.5 months older than Fletcher and Greyson is about 3 weeks older than Holden. Lauren and I are very happy that we have kids the same age. It makes for pleasant playdates.
Here are a few pictures from our afternoons of simple fun.
Fletcher and Claire like to run across the front yard, push baby strollers, play with a scooter and a tricycle, and hold each other's younger siblings.
Here are the best two pictures I could get of all four kids.
Greyson and Holden like to sit around on the blanket and watch their older siblings, play with smaller toys, and drink milk. Holden also likes to crawl off the blanket and try to put as much grass as he can into his mouth.
As much as we don't want to be in Raeford forever, we sure do love many of our neighbors. I know we'll be ready to move when the time comes, but I think I might actually be a little sad...simply because this is where we started our family and it's the kids' first home and we'd be leaving all of their first friends...if they don't leave us first. There's no moving date on the calendar...I'm just thinking about how it'll feel.
