Playdate and Mommy Morning Hour

Instead of happy hour these days, it's been better for the kids to have a playdate while mommies have a morning hour (or two) of occupying their children while catching up with each other. The first weekend of February we invited Katie and her two boys, Tristan and Jackson over along with Dorothy and Adelyn. The guys were off working, so Jesse was the lead macho man around the house that day. (He was moving furniture upstairs into our guest room.)

Tristan is a couple weeks older than Adelyn and Fletcher. Katie was the first of the three of us to get pregnant again and had Jackson in the fall. This was my first time meeting him.

Here's Jackson's big brother, Tristan.

Fletcher and Adelyn enjoyed food and liked having a real baby around the house.

Katie put Jackson alseep up on the top of the back of our couch (which I had never seen before) to keep Tristan away from him.

We tried to do a few group pictures. Adelyn and Jackson were the only ones really cooperating.

Soon enough, Fletcher and Adelyn were all about the baby again. Fletcher was very concerned about the pacifier being in his mouth and wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
