One Month Old!

I know I'll be saying this every month, but I can't believe it! Holden is one month old already. He has already had one cold and has had his fingernails cut four times! He eats, poops, and sleeps pretty well. He puts up with a big brother that hasn't quite figured out how to handle him. He puts up with a mother that juggles him with said brother and other duties around the house. He's gone out to dinner, gone to church, had some visitors, and given us some smiles! I tried to capture some of these smiles in these pictures. He's a precious little addition to our family and we can't imagine life without him.

I plan on taking his picture by these stuffed animals each month. He didn't get as many stuffed animals as Fletcher did, so we decided to put him next to the black lab that Jesse gave me years ago, the blue gorilla Grandma brought him in the hospital, and the teddy bear that Jesse's co-workers bought him. I also plan to take his picture next to a hedgehog that was his father's years ago. His Oparents will be giving it to him soon, so those pictures will be around later. The first couple months of pictures won't line up with his actual birthdays because we'll be out of town, but I'll try my best.

He weighed 8 pounds and was 20.5 inches long and his head circumference of 13.75 inches at birth. He weighed 11 pounds and was 22.5 inches long and his head circumference was 15.35 inches at one month. He's in the 75th percentile for everything.
