During naptime, I took pictures of the Easter Baskets for the boys.
This basket came for Fletcher from his Godparents, Dave and Michelle.
These knit blocks arrived a few weeks ago just because they love him for Holden from his Godparents, Janet and Joey.
These are the baskets for the boys from Oma and Opa Williams.
These are the baskets from Grandma and Grandpa Cunningham.
After nap on Easter, Fletcher discovered that the Easter Bunny had hidden 20 eggs in the backyard and got to go on an Easter Egg Hunt of his very own!
When I told him that I thought the Easter Bunny had visited his and Holden's rooms, he went through the house like a tornado and walked around his room (and right by the Easter Baskets) and told us, "No," and continued to run to the other rooms. I guess he thought the Easter Bunny only brought eggs because he didn't realize that the Easter Baskets were there for him too!
Here are Fletcher and Holden with the goods from their Easter Baskets. (Mom and Dad Bunny added their own gifts to the baskets from his grandparents.)
I just love Easter and I've always, always LOVED Easter Egg Hunts. For years I would make my family members re-hide the eggs around the house and yard over and over and over again so I could try to find them! I love scavenger hunts just as much. This year, I really, truly discovered that I love hiding the eggs and watching the excitement from finding them with our kids just as much! Next year should be quite interesting when both of them will be running around to gather them...if Holden is walking by then! Happy Easter! The Lord Is Risen!
