Adelyn's Second Birthday Party!

The Saturday before Fletcher's birthday we went to a going away party for Jesse's boss, but I didn't take any pictures and following that, we headed to Adelyn's house for her second birthday party. He was worn out by the time we got home and started his bedtime routine.

Adelyn wouldn't let him hug her despite his repeated effort.

Katie was excited to hold and meet Holden and he smiled for her.

I videotaped Adelyn's birthday song and she was so excited she fell into her cake!

They also liked to play in the tub of ice water rather than join in the organized play centers around the yard.

We are wondering if Fletcher is restless at night because he now takes Zyrtec for allergies. (When we've shared rooms with him in the past, we've noticed that he moves around quite a bit, and that was before taking the medicine.) We decided to take him off the meds for a few nights leading into this weekend and after being outside at both parties, his eyes were watering like crazy and his nose was running, so we put him back on it. At least now we know that he is allergic to something for sure. North Carolina is notorious for allergies so it was bound to happen, but we aren't quite sure what the allergen is and we're not quite sure Zyrtec is the answer, but for now we'll stick to it.
