Old World Brewery

On our final Saturday afternoon, Dad drove Aaron, Steph, Jesse, and I to Old World Brewery in Phoenix for a beer tasting. The place was packed thanks to a Living Social special. We tasted a few flights of their beer and then took a tour of the place. We ended up hanging out there for quite awhile. Thank goodness we had a designated driver.

You always seem to run into reminders of your kids. Since we affectionately call Fletcher Knucklehead and Holden Knothead...this label on one of the machines reminded me of Fletcher!

Speaking of kids, we left them with my mom who didn't know that my dad was going to stay with us and taste the root beer. We didn't know that either. So, before heading to a second location, we went back to their house so Aaron and Steph could help assist her with the kids. I don't know how much help they were. Jesse and I were avoiding our kids because we knew that if we just stayed away that would be better than going in to disrupt things. Then we headed out to grab some dinner and drinks elsewhere and all of sudden we had more to drink than we thought, so it was time to call it a night! A few cab rides later and we were all going to bed!
