Gymnastics

Fletcher loved watching gymnastics during the Olympics and I've thought about enrolling him in some sort of gym or dance class. Well, at Rylie and Reece's gym, they have open gym each day. So, I decided to take him and see how he liked it. Let's just say...he seems to feel safer watching gymnastics than actually doing any. He followed Reece around, but wouldn't really do much. However, I remember watching Reece in his gym class a few years ago and he was very timid and unable to do a lot of things. Maybe with time, if I enrolled Fletcher, he'd get better with everything too.

Here you can see him freaking out on the trampoline. I had to take him off. Then, he was fine on his own...until he started jumping and lost control of himself and fell. At which point he freaked out again.

One of these pictures shows how close he came to the bars.

Reece was all over everything, showing off his mad skills to his cousin.

Fletcher did show Reece a new way to use the balance beam.

Holden joined in with some of the fun on the floor and the obstacle course.

Rylie and Reece jumped into the foam pit over and over again. Fletcher did it once and then flipped out because he couldn't figure out how to get out...and didn't listen to directions as we tried to guide him. So he didn't go back in at all.

He did, however, muster up enough courage to join his cousins on the balance beam one time before we left!
