If you have been reading along, you know that we met up with just about everyone under the sun when we were in the Valley of the Sun! There are just a few groups that I couldn't fit in, but we did our best! Here are some of the pictures I got of Holden with several other people and more! Of course these are ones that were not covered in previous posts.
Here's Holden with Cheryl, her daughter Hannah, Brittany, and her aunt, Cheryl. All of them are friends from church.
Aside from spending a few nights with Corey and Sarah in Scottsdale, we went to their house one day and Fletcher got to meet Willy, their desert tortoise.
After going over to Kelly and Brendan's, we stopped by a local Target on that side of town to meet up real quick with my friend Lisa and one of her kids, Owen. Audrey was at a birthday party and Mommy and Owen were running errands. It was a quick conversation, but at least I got to see her! Next time she'll have a third child in tow!
We went by GCC Pool where Mommy has spent many hours of her life. I don't even want to know what the total would be for my whole family combined. However, I bet Charlie has us all beat. He's been the head coach there for years. We stopped in on a practice for a quick visit.
I was also able to introduce Holden to Liz (on our way back from Corey and Sarah's) and Abbi when she came over for a quick visit one night after work. I went to college with Abbi and Liz. I shared a bedroom with Abbi for the first year and half and then shared a bedroom with Liz for the last two years of college. (The missing semester in this equation was spent sharing a bedroom with Meaghan in Florence, Italy.)
Here's Holden with Alan and Curt, both friends from church.
One night I was able to get together with two friends from high school...Sara and Vivian. I also got to meet Sara's newest little one, Owen. We planned on trying to get all of our boys together for a playdate with another friend from high school and her boys, but the timing just didn't work out!
Rachel and I used to swim together. She introduced me to a place called Corbin's that I liked so much for happy hour that I met up there a few days later for Sunday brunch with my other friend Janet. The final picture was taken at Haus Murphy's in Glendale. It's a spot where Jesse and I got to have a few minutes together with a beer when we went to pick up takeout. We had our rehearsal dinner there just over nine years ago. But, it wasn't exactly there. The restaurant moved down the street from where it used to be. But I will say...the German food and drinks are just as good!
And that, my friends...should wrap up the meet and greets from our month in Arizona! Needless to say...we were very busy while we were there!
