A Weekend Getaway!

Jesse and I were able to get away for a few nights when we were in Phoenix. My parents watched the kids while we went to one of our timeshare properties in Scottsdale...The Sheraton Desert Oasis. We had one night on our own and two with Corey and Sarah.

Saturday we went lunch at Blanco and then to a movie, which happened to be about grandparents watching their grandchildren while the parents got away for a short time...Parental Guidance. Then we went to RA for happy hour and back to the hotel and hot tub.

Sunday we enjoyed sleeping in. Then we went to the Westin Kierland for brunch, followed by massages at the spa. That evening Sarah and Corey treated us to dinner at The Melting Pot.

New Year's Eve we went to Fleming's Steakhouse and then to The Comedy Spot for a comedy show. The next morning we went out to breakfast before heading back home. It was a great weekend away, but we were both excited to see the kids when we got back to my parents' house on the 1st. (Thank you sooooooo much, Grandma and Grandpa!)
