Reece and Fletcher can now be spelled T-R-O-U-B-L-E! They had so much fun together on this trip, interrupted by a few biting incidents and tattle-taling, but they were so excited to see one another when they could and sad to say bye-bye when they parted ways.
Grandma had her hands full quite often with these four!
We had a lot of family time at church. (That's Levi on the table, not Holden.)
Here are Fletcher and Reece playing in the pool. Yes...that is the pool in my parents' backyard...filled with dirt.
Aunt Amy and Soon-to-be Uncle Budd (don't know when that is happening) were able to come to town for a short time too.
Grandpa played Checkers with the kids on our final night.
Fletcher just had a great time most of the time we were visiting.
He also got to enjoy his very first happy meal from McDonald's.
This was a birthday basket delivered to our room at my parents' timeshare when they heard it was my birthday. Nothing like two buck Chuck wine, baby!
This trip was the first time that Holden met Rylie, who just adored him to pieces. Of course it was the first time he met Reece, Aaron, and Stephanie too. So, he's managed to meet all of our immediate family members except for Ryan (Jesse's brother-in-law on his side.)
One day, us ladies were able to sneak away from the men and the kids for a long lunch at Cheesecake Factory.
We got to see my cousin, Sean too. My Aunt Joan happened to be in town as well, so it was great seeing her and catching up with both of them. Unfortunately, Sean's wife, Amy had to work, so we didn't get a chance to see her.
This was an illustrated coversation that Fletcher was having with Aunt Amy.
Overall, it was an extremely busy month in Arizona, but it was wonderful having some time with our family and I think it's always exciting for the boys to spend time with their grandparents. Fletcher's first Christmas was spent in South Carolina with the oparents and Holden's was now spent in Arizona with the grandparents. Nice how we made that work!
