This was his last time in the swing. I sold it, so there's no going back now!
He started army crawling, but really rocked it on his hands and knees a lot. Now he is actually crawling a few scoots here and there, but I don't have a picture of it and definitely haven't gotten it on video yet.
Fletcher's growing like crazy and speaking so much these days, never short on anything to say. Never short on energy either. Here he's rocking my shoes. I think he likes the clicking and clacking noises they make on the hard floors.
Here are just some pictures of Holden alone and then with Fletcher and Hank.
This was Holden with Daddy the day he left.
He is my little Sun Devil eating butternut squash in these pictures!
Fletcher got strep throat. (I know! Not even the right season for it. But I've known two people that both wound up in the hospital with pnemonia this summer too, so who knows what's going on!) He's enjoying a popsicle here to ice down his mouth.
Holden's having acorn squash in his bib from Australia here!
One of Fletcher's favorite things, aside from a mess is greek yogurt and honey.
He also insists on dressing himself half the time now. This shows how he normally puts both legs through the same pant hole.
Not a week goes by without some brother shots.
Holden now takes a bath in the large bathtub! He really likes to splash in the water and loves my songs!
He has also started riding in the stroller without his car seat. When we go on neighborhood walks, we are starting to use the double stroller. He always seems to fall to one side or the other.
Here's a picture of Holden in his Bryce Canyon shirt from his Oparents.
Remember when I told you he didn't like to sit up all that much because he was on the go. Well, he sits up all the time now. He'll army crawl his way around and then pull himself up to a seated position. Here he's sitting on his changing table, then in happy baby pose, and finally, what he does most often...flipping over to his belly.
One of the things he gets into is the dog's water dish. I remember Fletcher doing this when he was little too and now Holden has discovered the fun in this area.
When I go in to get him from his naps or in the morning, he typically greets me like this: sitting and smiling. Although during the night...not so much.
If you follow the blog or caught my links to our Labor Day trilogy, you know all about Labor Day. Here's Holden on his first Labor Day.
Here's his first ride in the shopping cart without the car seat. Happy here, but not in the store!
We went for burgers and apple slices at Red Robin for lunch. This is Fletcher and Holden as we waited for our food...before the tears began.
And that was a rundown of some of the things that went on in Holden's 6th Month!
