Holden slept in the infant travel bed for the first time, and as you can see he's a pretty active sleeper.
Here was our view from our room.
I had to get some pictures of Holden in a couple different outfits during our stay, so when it looks like we don't have a lot of pictures for his 3 month update, refer back to some of these times in Colorado and you'll see pictures of him at the end of his 2nd month and the first half of his 3rd month!
We attempted happy hour one evening at the restaurant, Cima, at the hotel. We enjoyed the view, but HH isn't as happy as it used to be!
We walked along Eagle River a few of the days we were there. The path goes right by the hotel and villas, so it's quite nice. The water rose while we were there as well. The weather was unseasonably warm and we found that we had almost too many cold weather clothes packed! It was gorgeous though and we loved it!
Fletcher asked to hold Holden a couple times each day...here's one of those times.
In addition to the Kaiser Family Visit that's already been covered, Buddy and Claudia came to visit us for a few nights as well. We didn't end up doing anything with them because Claudia had altitude sickness while they were there. (Jesse also had it the first day of our trip.) But we enjoyed some time with them in the villas. I had to get pictures of Opa and Holden with Holden wearing the "Grandpa's Sidekick" onesie.
We walked over to the park and playground and around Nottingham Lake one day.
Someone was really starting to get smiley and interactive with us while we were on the trip.
We packed a bunch of toys for Fletcher, but here were some of his favorite things to do while we were gone. He'd throw rocks in the river with Jesse. (He threw his shoes in the river when he walked down there with Kat's family! Luckily, Graham saved them!)
He enjoyed the patio as much as we did!
He would play Bocce Ball (or just play with the balls...whatever) while Jesse would grill.
All the boys would hang out.
He liked Holden's infant bed.
Here's Mommy and Holden sporting ASU garb!
One of the last nights we were in Avon, we went over to Edwards to check out Gore Range Brewery. The food was excellent even if the service was far from it. We enjoyed the patio seating, where more families came to join the crowd. The other kids liked to look at Holden and Fletcher liked the dogs people would bring and showed his belly to the little one. He also played with the crayons and enjoyed some calamari! We enjoyed tasting a small flight and having dinner!
Here's Holden on one of the last nights (possibly THE last night) in the infant bed. He just kept pinwheeling his way out of it! By our next overnight trip, he might be in the pack n play!
Here is one of the final sunsets of our stay. We had a great time relaxing in Avon, checking out some of the nearby towns, visiting with family, seeing friends, walking, playing, swimming, drinking, eating, and being thankful for our lives and opportunities like these! By the way, Fletcher was a trooper with the sleeping arrangements on this trip! I didn't want to jinx it by saying anything too early, but he slept in the bed on one side of the villas when nobody was with us. He slept in the pull-out couch when his Oparents were with us. He went down in our bed and then we transfered him to the pull-out couch when the Kaisers were with us. All of these scenarios were met with compliance and full nights of sleep, even if they were a bit shorter nights! We were so happy!
