Today we went along the Blue Ridge Parkway again and stopped by Mile Marker 304. I got out to see the Linn Coe Viaduct from the access trail while Jesse stayed in the car with the kids. Then we drove over it and moved on.
Here's a view of the Linn Cove Viaduct from another point on the parkway.
We stopped at Price Lake to do the trail around the lake, but it was too difficult and muddy to do with a small child walking and another child in a stroller, so we turned around after trying to make it work for 45 minutes.
Once we got to Moses Cone Memorial Park, we wished we would have just headed here in the first place and not even stopped at Price Lake. This park was beautiful and had a ton of different marked trails. I can't remember if we walked around Bass Lake or Trout Lake, but it was really nice.
After a little picnic lunch, we made our way back to the car. Holden and Fletcher were interested in the geese. Holden had almost no fear of them, of course.
Then, we headed back to our hotel on Sugar Mountain.
