Memories

Over Thanksgiving Weekend, the boys and their mother enjoyed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving. Fletcher and I stayed in our pajamas all day on Black Friday. Charlie Brown is one of the things I remember watching on TV when I was a kid and seeing Fletcher stop to actually watch it when it was on brought back those memories.

We also watched Charlie Brown's Christmas. Sometimes Fletcher just can't get close enough to the TV. Why do we all go through this as children? Having this large TV close to the ground is another memory I have from my childhood. I remember dancing around in front of it to the theme songs of Dallas and Falcon Crest. I remember laying close to it at my babysitter, Nellie's house. Here's to making memories!

For the last couple weeks, Fletcher has been playing with his dad's suitcase that he found in our closet. He rolls it all over the place and has insisted on having it in his bedroom at night, off and on. He says he's going on a trip and when I ask him where he's going, he replies, "On an airplane. I'm going to Afghanistan." You would think he'd say Arizona since we'll be heading there shortly, but Afghanistan it is. At least he comes home safely about three minutes later.
