Holden's Eighth Month

Here are some pictures from Holden's 8th month.

One thing he can climb on is the dishwasher. You should see him light up when he has the chance to attack it!

He loves to look outside if he can't go outside.

He had his first Columbus Day.

He's on the go and always pulling up on something.

Knuckles is the most amazing dog ever! Holden crawls all over her and "shares" her bones and all she does is like his face and toes.

I love it when Fletcher joins Holden at the window and puts his arm around his little brother. It's much better than when Fletcher goes to the window and knocks Holden down.

One of the boys' favorite activities is Skyping with Daddy. Isn't this a sweet picture?

Holden helps with the laundry. Fletcher wants me to put both of them in empty laundry baskets.

I have found a trick to feeding Holden. For better or worse...he'll eat whatever I put in yogurt, which he started eating this month. Do green beans, peas, squashes of various types, chicken, turkey, sweet potatoes, carrots, or grains sound good to you? What about with vanilla, strawberry banana, regular banana, sweet potato and apple yobaby yogurt? Holden says, "Yes, please." (Well, after I force feed him the first bite.) Fletcher now also wants yobaby yogurt more than his normal greek yogurt with honey. He also wants to eat with the baby spoons.

Since starting baby food with Holden, I've wondered whether or not he's just a child that wants to go to finger food and doesn't want to mess with being spoon fed. Turns out he wants anything he can put in his mouth himself. Here he is with some Cheerios. In fact, I felt like he would eat more in general if I cut ties with him, but there will be more about that later.

He has started cruising and pushes around the stride and ride lion. Fletcher has to take turns with him now.

Finally, here are some pictures of Holden hamming it up. (Don't forget: There's a little Cunning Ham in him too!)
