Fall 2011

Here's a recap for this fall. Lots of pictures and few words (hopefully).

If he wasn't into everything before, he's into absolutely everything now!

We went to Sebastian's and Ruby's 1st birthday party.

We saw Adelyn there, but wouldn't cooperate for a picture.

This was the best I could get of him with the birthday kids.

Cuddling with Dad.

He thinks he's so cool sometimes.

When Opa ended up in the hosptial in late September, we went down to visit him. Luckily he came home. Fletcher got to see Aunt Becki during the trip.

He gave kisses to his Oparents.

He helped feed the birds.

He helped clean the house.

So they shortened the handle for him.

We took different family combo pictures.

We had to get some pictures of Fletcher in the "What happens in Grandpa's garage stays in Grandpa's garage" t-shirt that Oma bought him.

Not only was he into everything, but he had started to climb on everything too.

We started introducing the potty. I have some naked pictures of this too, but decided not to post those. I guess he's thinks the Twilight Saga is appropriate bathroom reading material.

I love this fireman outfit that Oma got him. I love it more that he decided it went well with cookie monster slippers.

He loves it when Daddy comes home from his work day. (This was just before Daddy deployed in November.)

He enjoys dipping, so we call him our Little Dipper at times. Here he's dipping fresh veggies in hummus. After awhile, he just dug into the hummus with his hands.

Using his step stool has opened a new world of experiences for him. Here he's into the butter. (I guess that's better than the knife block.)

This was just before his first nap in the big twin bed.

This was going to be his last picture in the crib. He did spend the whole night in the twin bed that first night, but as you've seen in the other post...three nights later, he was back in this crib. We haven't tried since, but it's on the horizon and scares me more now.

The night before we left for Thanksgiving, I decided to try and trim his hair on my own. It took quite awhile. I distracted him by letting him sit on our bathroom counter and play in our sinks with all the stuff that's typically off limits. This is half way through.

Not so bad, if I do say so myself. (I didn't even attempt the front.)

As we've introduced the potty, we've also introduced big boy undies. Some days they are accompanied by pants, other days, they are on the floor with pants and he's half naked around the house. In these pictures, he has added the mismatched slippers to the mix. Cookie Monster and Frog.

Finally, we've had fun with friends in the neighborhood. Here's a picture of him with his first painting experience up at Joe and Hank's place.
