Fletcher is (dare I speak so soon?) doing much better sleeping during the night and during his day naps. He goes down awake and on his back and wakes up pretty happy to see me on his stomach. I snuck in the other night and captured him sleeping so peacefully.
He still doesn't have teeth, but you can see his favorite teething toy here. He better get used to the teething rings or something else, because once the pearly whites make their debut, I don't think anyone will allow him to gnaw on a finger.
His feet go beyond the infant car seat now, but I'm trying to keep him in it and used to it until we are back from our trip to Colorado and Arizona in November. However, on his walks now, I let him simply sit in the stroller, ready to face the world. He was all smiles during this first experience, seen below.
He still likes eating. I should say that he loves the whole experience. Here's the bright green peas which are the kitchen special of the week.
And finally, he has really taken a liking to his older sister, Knuckles. He has always loved watching her and she really loves to keep an eye on him at all times. She is with me every step of every day (and night) when it comes to taking care of him. She is so incredibly good with him, it's crazy. Anyway, just this week, he moved beyond watching her, laughing at her, and laying next to her. While they were watching me do some housework, he actually reached out and started petting her and now he just can't get enough!
