5 months down!

It's hard to believe that Fletcher turned 5 months old today, but he sure did! This was the hardest "photo shoot" to date with the lion, giraffe, and Aussie Footy because all he wanted to do was lean forward and hold on to his toes instead of sit back and smile at the camera. Just signs of all that is to come, I'm sure. Last time, he was into the giraffe. This time, he wanted to grab the football (or should I say rugby ball? I'm not sure what you call it.)

We spent some time playing and laughing, but we were on the go for the most part. We went to Just Claying Around for some momento making, grabbed lunch for Mom, and went to visit two new little friends, Sebastian and Ruby...twins born a few weeks ago to our friends, Cindy and Nick. They were big babies at 7lbs and 6.3lbs and 20" each when they were born. Poor Cindy, but she has handled it all beautifully. (With the help of Nick and their families of course!) Then we topped off the day with a dinner over at Jen and Clay's place. Happy birthday Fletcher! Here are some of the pictures I was able to get. The last one was actually in the middle of the shoot, but I thought it was hilarious...then he went right back to smiling!

I cannot believe how big he is! That is just crazy. Maybe it's a boy thing?!?! Is he off the charts percentile wise?

Yep! He's in the 100th percentile for everything. I did his stuff at home this week since we didn't have an appointment, so I don't know how accurate it is, but his head circumference was 18.5" and 29" long (which seemed rather long to me!) and 22 pounds. We'll see where things are in a month when he goes in for a 6 month check up.
