About 3 weeks ago, Sebastian and Ruby were born to our friends Cindy and Nick. First boy (7lbs), then girl (6.3lbs)...big babies for twins. But man, they felt so tiny in my arms last week! Fletcher only went up from 8lbs 6oz., so they are just so tiny to me! Now, I have to tell you I expected to walk into a little bit of chaos, what with 3 babies and 3 adults. The odds are good, but the needs of the kiddos could possibly be demanding. Well...the complete opposite happened. Fletcher fell asleep just before we got there and this picture proves that all were asleep at the very beginning.
The playdate ended up being Cindy playing with Fletcher.
As it started to get closer to Fletcher's nap time and drive home, she decided to wake the babies so they could interact a bit. Ruby is super chill. Oddly enough, the boy, Sebastian is the high maintenance one.
First we did the shot of me with all three (up above). Then we propped them all up on the couch.
Sebastian was not a happy camper and Fletcher showed concern.
He tried to focus a bit on Ruby, but Sebastian kept his attention.
He even held his hand.
He tried showing them his feet.
In the end, he just didn't know what to do!
But, Cindy and I had lots of laughs and Nick had a break in his Man Cave for a few hours!
