Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium

One morning, while staying at my parent's house in Arizona, my mom and I decided to take Fletcher and his two cousins to the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium in West Phoenix. We hastily threw together some snacks and drinks for all three kids and ourselves, grabbed the sunscreen and other childcare necessities and loaded the group in two vehicles (so we wouldn't have to wrestle car seats) and hit the road.

When we got there, we hit the walking paths. And walked. And walked. And walked. Even in the spring, the goal is to beat the heat. We managed to do that. We were there close to opening time and spent a couple hours wandering and watching the animals. The kids did a great job and by the time the day was over, they were hungry and tired. We loaded them in the back of the suburban for a picnic style lunch and hit the road to head back home. It was a great way to spend a morning. Out and about and doing something active and different.

We saw birds:

We saw monkeys:
We saw large animals:

We saw medium animals:
We saw baby animals:
We took pictures by animals:

We tried to get some group shots:

We got up close to the giraffes:

And we visited the aquarium:
