While I was in Arizona, I was able to meet up with my old college roommate and friend, Kirsten and her daughter, Kaylynn. I met Kirsten the first day I moved into the dorms at Arizona State. First, we shared a bathroom and then we shared many memories from that day forward. We went to the children's museum, where Kirsten takes her daughter regularly. However, after our trip, I don't think she'll ever take her on a rainy day again! The weekend before, there was record heat, hitting triple digits quite early in the year and the day we had this playdate it had dropped into the low 40's and was raining. The place was packed!
We attempted to get a picture of the two kids...
Here's the one where they looked in the same direction.
I also took some pictures of them in the "3 and Under Room."
His favorite thing was pushing this cart around. See the thrilled look in the middle of the picture? I also tried to get the city out the window behind him.
He also liked the ball room, but couldn't really play in it the way it was meant to be.
We also watched Kaylynn play.
After making a trip through the foam swimming noodle forest, Fletcher had a lot of fun painting water on some slate tiles.
We had a great time getting together and exploring a new place!
