Jesse and I just went to the follow-up appointment with the Pediatric Neurologist and we are happy to tell you that everything looks great to him! They did a physical examination and read through the records. He also went through some of the images on the CD with us. We saw now why they wanted us to stay the extra night in the hospital...there was one spot of bleeding actually on the brain itself, which he indicated could have caused seizures. The other spots that we had known of were on the vessels between the brain and skull and those bruises typically reabsorb into the brain over time. He pointed out some of the skull fractures too. But, overall...the news was very positive today!

Two more things...He weighed 19 pounds!!! (He's currently 3 months and 12 days old.) And, tonight's the first night in the Pack N Play instead of the infant travel bed. Thank you for all of your prayers and support during the time between June 15th and now. We will continue to hope and pray that things go well through the years to come, as they did give us some things to look for in the future. Hopefully he'll be blessed with nothing but healthy and happy growth!
