Fletcher Fun

During our crazy end of the year and vacation escapades...Fletcher has been having fun! And we've been having fun with him! Since he was in the PICU on his actual 2 month birthday, I took his 2 month pictures the morning of his follow-up doctor's appointment, when I wasn't sure if he'd be getting the shots that day or not. Instead of getting his shots, he just had a hospital follow-up appointment and his 2 month well-check was postponed. He doesn't have clothes on because I forgot to pull some out of his dresser the night before and his cousin, Reece, was still sleeping in his room when I took these. In other news, he went into the sling for the first time in awhile with his Aunt Stephanie's help. I don't know how much he cares for it, but we'll keep trying. He also tried out the Bumbo.

He also celebrated The 4th of July as an All American Chunky Hunk! We didn't go anywhere or do anything. We simply cleaned our house and stocked the fridge after company departed. Maybe we'll make up for it next year. Since he missed his original health check on the 18th, we went in this week. He weighs 17 lbs. 7 oz., is 25" long, and has a head circumference of 16". He's in the 95th and 100th percentiles for a 3 month old, even though he won't be 3 months old until next Friday.

You can see his battle wounds from the vaccinations on his legs. Even though he got four, they only had to give him two shots and then one was administered orally. I thought that was interesting. He likes the bouncer more than the swing now. He also likes his play mat more, and still loves to box the air. He's getting used to the Bumbo seat and is out of the net in the infant bath tub. After we tried this, we realized he could have been sitting in this tub a long time ago!

Anna,

Baby Fletcher is such an adorable chunk. Aren't you so proud of him? I am so happy to see that you're all doing fantastically. I was very worried and teary for days when you all had your scary experience.

So glad to be able to stay tuned through your blog - thank you. I love you very much!
