The social committee at work threw a baby shower for me and for Dorothy, who is due four days before me. She's having a girl. We know teachers have a lot of work once the students are gone, so we let everyone get cake and drinks first and eat while we took turns opening our gifts so they wouldn't have to sit there too long.
This diaper cake was made for me by my student teacher.

After eating we opened tons of gifts. It was so nice that people at work thought of celebrating this milestone in our lives.
