This weekend, I went to a writing conference that was a big let down. I stayed through the entire thing even though it felt like I was attending some Gospel Church Service. There was singing, dancing, laying on of hands, oh...and some speeches, along with some sermons. I was very thankful that Jesse was able to be home with the kids and I didn't have to pay for a babysitter in addition to the minimal cost of the conference. I kept thinking to myself...just stay. You never know why this may be helpful to you in the end. So, we'll see...
I attended a photography class today that was very informative and productive. It was great. I have a nice camera that I want to use it to it's fullest ability. I don't know that I'm there yet...well, I know that I'm not there yet, actually. However, I learned some things about shooting in Manual that I hope to put to use in the future. Here are some pictures from our walk about after the classroom lesson. It'll be a learning experience when I start trying to shoot moving objects though!
