The most convenient thing to us for years where we live has been the dog kennel. (That is, until Fletcher's school opened.) When we got Knuckles we were so happy to have a wonderful home for her to go to when we went on trips. Lorrie and Jeff built a dog kennel on their property and their furry guests were treated so well! We never worried about her safety or well-being. She was able to play with the other dogs and have indoor and outdoor space to herself. She couldn't wait to greet them when we arrived. It was doggie heaven for her...we called it camp!
I'm sad to say that they are moving and the new owners aren't interested in keeping the kennel a functioning kennel. So, we will be trying a different place the next time we need to board her. Sniff, sniff. I'm sad about this. More sad than I thought I would be.
We'll miss you Dog E Dog World! You were a very important part of our little girl's life!
Friday was the last time I'd drop Knuckles off and Sunday was the last time I'd pick her up.
