I put on Fletcher's orange shirt and overalls for a trip to another pumpkin patch while we were in Amarillo. This one was definitely different from the one near our house in North Carolina. We have some like this around us, but they're a bit of a drive.
We got there right when it opened and still had to wait in line to pay to get in. Then we took a hayride over to the pumpkin patch, where Aunt Amy looked for some pumpkins for some friends while Fletcher played and I chased him around trying to take pictures.
Of course he had to stop to pick up dirt and drop it in a plant. He just loves to play in dirt and rocks!
He continued his training for his future strong man competitions.
Then we went through the corn maze and collected all the punches in our tickets and entered Amy and Budd in a raffle for a $1,000 shopping gift certificate. I wish I had the larger stroller, but at least we had one!
We took some pictures in the cut outs.
After we took the hayride back, someone threw a fit. I won't name names, but you can guess who it was.
Once that was over, he spotted a wheelbarrow, which happened to be a favorite at the pumpkin patch near us too.
Then we posed for a couple more pictures.
Then we walked through Bunnyville and looked at bunnies.
Then we looked at some larger animals.
Then we walked over to the Golden Goat Bridge to feed a goat. Aunt Amy helped Fletcher put the food in the little cup and crank it up the conveyor belt to the goat.
Then we went on a wagon ride. We put him in the little cow train on his own, but he didn't really seem to like that, so I climbed in the wagon with him and we went through a little maze.
Aunt Amy took him on a large slide.
And she climbed up a haystack pyramid with him for some pictures.
More pictures and then roping some cattle...or climbing on it.
Hard to believe by these pictures that we left Amarillo for Phoenix and three days later it snowed there!
