Veterans' Day Parade

Yes, I wrote Veterans' Day rather than Veteran's Day. It belongs to all veterans, past and present, not just one. We thank you for your service for this country and many other countries worldwide. Fletcher attended his first parade on Thursday with Grandma Cunningham and cousins, Rylie and Reece. I was there as well. When he got tired of the stroller and the wagon, we had an arm workout. He did very well considering he only got a 20 minute nap on the way. He liked the music and "sang along." He had plenty to keep his mind off sleeping. The other two did great too. The weather was beautiful, but the line-up was long. We only stayed through 50-something of the 100 floats, balloons, and groups and headed home after being there for 2 hours. Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Lots of flag waving...

Reece didn't like the noise from one truck too much.

Fletcher just made his own noises to go along with the music and noise.

Mom and I took turns holding him.

But he also did well on his own, except for getting the flag and drink mixed up.

:o( Soooo sad we had to miss it. All for the best, you wouldn't have wanted to travel home with a sick baby.
