We are past the due date!

Well, it's April 11th and no sign of the Baby coming as of yet. I have had little, false contractions of course for quite awhile and now they are longer, but totally inconsistent and not at all what I think they would be if I were going into labor. In addition, the answer is no to all the other questions they ask you at your appointments except that I do have pelvic pressure. I feel like he dropped a few weeks ago, but now it doesn't feel that way at all, so who knows what is going on in there? I can just tell he's out of room.

The only signs I have are those contractions, my ever expanding belly, and my swollen feet and ankles that come and go depending on my activity. For the most part, I feel great. I'm sleeping pretty well considering all the pregnancy related reasons I wake up at night. I've had a pretty relaxing and productful spring break. I don't have those "Oh...he's got to come right now!" sort of feelings. I just figure nature will take it's course or modern medicine will be helping by the end of the week.

So, I have made it to my planned timing of all these events, which is great! Now, I'm kind of hoping to work through Thursday so I don't have to go back to work until the day after Memorial Day, June 1st. That way I have a four day week, a five day week, and then one work day to make it through before summer. That would be awesome!!! But anything could happen at any time this week, so we'll roll with the punches.

My in-laws are planning on coming up here from SC when I'm in the hospital. My mom might actually arrive while I'm still in the hospital as well. She's staying for two weeks to greet her newest grandson and will leave on May 1st. And that, my friends, is all that I have to talk about right now! Here are some pics:

I went in on the 7th and they did another ultrasound to make sure everything was okay in there.
