Here are some pictures from Fletcher's birth. We drove to the hospital the night before he was born to get the induction started. We were going to watch some movies once we got settled, but decided that it might make better sense trying to sleep.
Jesse couldn't cut the umbilical cord right away because of the meconium issue, so he got to do it over in the NICU area, after they made sure Fletcher was okay.
Here's Dr. McLaughlin, the doctor that delivered Fletcher.
Here's our 8 pound 6 ounce bundle of joy that was 22 inches long!
Here's Nurse Min, that helped deliver our baby as well!
Here's my favorite picture of the day! This was taken when they brought him to the recovery room after running all the tests in the nursery. The quality isn't so good because we took it with a phone.
Oma and Opa came to visit us and meet Fletcher as soon as they could.
Grandma flew in from AZ the next day and came straight to the hospital to visit us and meet Fletcher.
I love baby feet!
Here's the three generation Williams picture.
We had to wait around for hours on the day of discharge because the doctors wanted Fletcher to pee, but finally we left in the late afternoon. While we waited, we just took pictures and cuddled.
Here's Fletcher in the car seat to go home!
And now he's home!
Knuckles was excited to have us back. We sent home a poopy diaper and a blanket Fletcher was wrapped in with Oma and Opa so she would be used to his scent before he was actually there.
After welcoming him home, Oma and Opa went back home, but Grandma will stay for two weeks to help out. Oma and Opa will come back when I go back to work to babysit.
