15 Months Already!

I can't believe Fletcher is 15 months old already! The time between his first birthday and now has just flown by and I think it'll keep passing before I can ever catch up with everything I'd like to accomplish around the house. If you know me, you know I always have projects stashed here and there. I'd like to make some progress, but it's just not happening. One day it will, right?

Anyway, he's 15 months old, which means we went to the doctor for more shots and a well-check. He weighed in at 29 pounds 8 ounces (95th percentile), had a head circumference of 19 3/4" (99th percentile), and was 32 1/4" tall (83rd percentile). Although I must say, he seems taller than the 83rd, but we'll go with it.

He's toddling around like nobody's business and babbling to no end. He also yells and screams, which drives us nuts. The way he plays with his toys proves he's a boy if there's ever a doubt. We are trying to teach him to be gentle and how to handle things appropriately, including his voice. As you know, this is a process. He turns the water on in our bath tub and walks away, pretending it wasn't him. He gets into the pantry and brings his snacks to us, along with canned vegetables, breakfast bars, and pretty much anything else he can carry. He's developing quite the personality, so we're interested to see how it comes about.

Although he took steps in May, he really decided to put one foot in front of the other over 4th of July in South Carolina at his Oparents house. He just stood up one day and slowly walked across the room. The first part of this video is the second time he did that. The last part shows him walking around our house, and it shows the love he has for his belly. He'll walk around rubbing his belly. He'll lay around rubbing it. He plays with it while he drinks his milk. He'll search for it while he's eating or playing. If you pay us a visit, he may search for your's too.

Enjoy!

Don't you LOVE the baby babbling? We are working on the screaming, too. It makes me feel like I am going to lose my mind. But then there are all of the adorable things... :) So glad you all are enjoying yourselves (and your tummies)!

Yep, Kat...that's the same chair...it's gone overseas and back with us! Sarah...the babbling has taken over the screaming now, which is nice. Meghan...yes...he's very busy on those feet and I think I need more than luck!
